About
Each year, TIFA’s International Visitors (IV) Programme welcomes publishing leaders from around the world to discover the richness and diversity of Canadian writing and publishing. This year’s keynote welcomes one of the most influential figures in global bookselling, James Daunt, founder of Daunt Books and the bookseller credited with revitalizing Waterstones and Barnes & Noble. In conversation with Craig Swinwood, CEO, Harlequin & HarperCollins Canada, Daunt reflects on the future of bookselling, his belief in local decision-making and what his experience can tell us about the opportunities and challenges facing the Canadian book industry.
The event will celebrate outstanding contributions to Canadian publishing with the presentation of the annual IVY Award and PACLA Award.
