Festival Assistant, Events

Employment Type: Contract, 4.5 months with a tentative start date of June 28, 2021
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

The Festival Assistant, Events will receive a unique introduction to the world of event coordination in the not-for-profit sector. Reporting to the Event Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in event logistics, and publisher and author communications. As a small not-for-profit organization that produces world-class literary events and festivals, the Festival Assistant must possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

Marketing & Communications Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs)

Employment Type: Temporary, part-time contract (15-20 hr/week, Mondays to Fridays)
Work term: August 3 to November 5, 2021
Deadline to apply: June 25, 2021

The Marketing & Communications Assistant will provide general assistance to the TIFA marketing and communications team during the launch and delivery of the 42nd Festival edition. The Assistant’s focus will be supporting all marketing strategies and tactics (digital and traditional) designed to increase TIFA’s audience and strengthen its relationship with members and the publishing community.
