In a charming tale of community and solidarity, two young first-generation Canadians discover the beauty and power of friendship in We Belong Here. Set in the wake of World War II, Eve and Mark become fast friends, sharing stories from their Jewish and Japanese cultures and learning just how powerful friendship can be.

With heartfelt storytelling and a creative draw-along, illustrator Ruth Ohi will share her own story of friendship and show us just how important (and fun!) it can be to reach out a friendly hand to people from all walks of life.
