The New Testament tells of Jesus resurrecting a beloved friend named Lazarus from the dead. Yet it does not share how Jesus accomplished this miracle or whether there was a special purpose for saving his companion. International bestselling author Richard Zimler hypothesizes the answers to these queries in The Gospel According to Lazarus, which narrates the familiar story from Lazarus’ own point of view. Learn how Zimler constructed the impeccably researched and highly moving work of historical fiction, and how it brings fresh meaning to readers today, in this interview with Anabela Mota Ribeiro.
