
Anabela Mota-Ribeiro

Anabela Mota-Ribeiro was born in 1971 in Portugal, and currently lives and works in Lisbon. She graduated with a degree in philosophy from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and is now working on her PhD. In 2019, she was a visiting research fellow at Brown University. Mota-Ribeiro has published five books, all of which contain interviews, including Por Saramago (November 2018), and an essay on Machado de Assis. As a freelance journalist, she has collaborated with several newspapers and magazines. With J. E. Agualusa, was curator of the literary festival of Porto in 2017, 2018 and 2020.
