Finding your voice.

As readers, many of us have had the experience of being seduced by the voice of an electrifying writer. But what do we mean when we talk about “voice”? And how can fiction writers find theirs? Join author and Humber College creative writing professor Kathy Friedman for a 90-minute interactive workshop that will examine how writers adapt their voice to the needs of their characters, using techniques such as tone, word choice, sentence structure, striking details and point of view. All writing levels welcome.
