Yuval Noah Harari is a historian and philosopher, best known for his bestselling books, including Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind and Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow. His works have sold over 45 million copies in 65 languages, making him a highly influential public intellectual. Born in Israel in 1976, Harari earned his PhD from Oxford and teaches at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He co-founded Sapienship, a social impact company, with his husband, Itzik Yahav. Harari’s research focuses on macro-historical questions and ethical issues in science and technology. He has given keynote speeches at the World Economic Forum and engages with global leaders on contemporary issues.
