Mounir Nasri

Mounir Nasri is a social entrepreneur and advisor in the field of community development. He built several social impact projects in Syria and Lebanon prior to his arrival to Canada under the private sponsorship program for Syrian refugees. Mounir is currently working with Toronto’s Local Immigration Partnership, where he leads and coordinates cross-sectoral projects and collaborations between non-profits, for-profits and government to create welcoming and inclusive communities for new Canadians. He is the Co-Chapter Lead for Techfugees Canada and he sits on the Programming Committee at The Toronto Ward Museum. He is also one of the former Advisors for 6 Degrees, the global forum for inclusion and a project of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship. Mounir’s main fields of interest include diversity and inclusion, digital technology, arts and culture and sustainable innovation.
