Bio
Edward Lee was born in Montreal. He is a former arbitrator and lawyer. His fiction and creative non-fiction have been published in the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail and in various literary magazines. His radio documentary, Tiger Balm, Batman Comics, and Barbeque Pork, was produced by CBC Radio’s Outfront. The Laundryman’s Boy is his first novel. It is the coming-of-age story of Hoi Wing Woo, a thirteen-year-old Chinese immigrant who comes to St. Catharines, Ontario in 1913 to work in a Chinese hand laundry. Edward Lee currently lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.
