Whispering Wick is a small, Ontario-based chapbook publisher. We take on new and emerging Canadian authors and publish short fiction and poetry. Our main goal is to aid marginalized voices and new authors in some of their first publications. All our publications are handmade by our team and all profits we make go right back into the press.
Whispering Wick Chapbook Press was founded by Tamara Thompson with the help of Nathaniel Boulard-Patterson. All of our current staff, including our founders, have 4+ years of publishing experience from attending Sheridan College’s Creative Writing and Publishing program together. Because of this, our team has been able to know and respect each other not only personally, but as authors, publishers, and editors alike.
