Join us on February 8 at Twist Gallery for the launch of the incredibly topical Chrystia: From Peace River to Parliament Hill by Catherine Tsalikis (House of Anansi). Catherine will be in conversation about the book with author and journalist Liz Renzetti.

Books will be available for purchase on site courtesy of Another Story Bookshop. There will be refreshments served.


Toronto Lit Up is a multi-year initiative, started in 2016 by the Toronto International Festival of Authors and the Toronto Arts Council, to spotlight Toronto writers and empower local artists with career-building opportunities. Between April 2016 and March 2024, Toronto Lit Up has presented over 200 events featuring over 250 Toronto authors and illustrators. Toronto Lit Up book launches take place throughout the year at venues across the city. Catherine Tsalikis is a writer and journalist based in Toronto, covering foreign policy, politics and gender equality. After completing her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Toronto and the London School of Economics, she worked as an editorial assistant for The World Today magazine, published by Chatham House, and as a politics producer for London’s Sky News.
