About

Join us for an unforgettable evening of true stories told live as The Moth Mainstage returns to Toronto as part of the TIFA Presents 2025 season. This signature event brings together storytellers from Canada and around the world to share bold, funny, and heartfelt tales that celebrate the art and craft of storytelling.

The Mainstage is the quintessential Moth experience, a two-act show where the storytellers and a notable host share true personal stories, without notes. The Moth brings the power of personal storytelling to millions of people each year, creating community and building empathy around the world with unique, intimate, and often enlightening experiences. Don’t miss “New York’s hottest and hippest literary ticket” (The Wall Street Journal) in town for one night only.

Host: Peter Aguero

Storytellers: Qurat Dar, Kate Gies, Ali Hassan, Connie Shin, Nick Ullett

TIFA Presents 2025 Season is generously supported by Presenting Donors Beth Nowers and Jack Curtin.
