TIFA Kids is super hyped to welcome to virtual Toronto the award-winning creator of The Invention of Hugo Cabret and Wonderstruck, Brian Selznick. Known for his genre-defying storytelling, Brian presents his latest novel, Kaleidoscope, which was inspired by the early months of the pandemic. He’ll be joined by his editor, none other than the celebrated and award-winning young adult author David Levithan. Together they’ll talk about how this new book that plays with words, pictures, concepts of storytelling, time and identity came into being. Plus there is a live audience Q&A.

Recommended for ages 10 and up.

(as told to his brother), (with Jennifer Niven) Take Me With You When You Go and Answers in the Pages. He is also a publisher and editorial director at Scholastic.
