Real life best friends, Shannon and LeUyen give the most honest and funny insight into how they created their graphic novel series, the latest of which is Friends Forever! Based on Shannon’s own experiences of school, the latest book sees young Shannon become an Eighth grader. Like so many children and teens, she is struggling with her emotions, insecurities and undiagnosed anxieties, while the world she once knew starts to change. This humorous and comforting story, presented in accessible comic-book style, is a must for young readers (and parents and care-givers). It packs a big hug and will remind you that even when things are looking down, you are enough.

Recommended for ages 11 and up.
