Is There Bacon in Heaven?

Ali Hassan is an actor, author, broadcaster, and comedian who has performed for audiences across Canada, the United States and internationally. He is the host of the CBC Radio hit stand-up comedy show Laugh Out Loud. For the past nine years he has been the host of Canada Reads, CBC's nationally broadcast "Battle of the Books". Ali has appeared on the big screen in films such as the hockey hit Goon, Tammy's Always Dying and My Spy, and has been nominated for Canadian Screen Awards for his TV roles in the Peabody Award-winning Sort Of (HBO Max) and Run The Burbs (Hulu). A touring performer, Ali has taken his solo show Muslim Interrupted across Canada and to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2023, Ali began touring his latest one man show, Does This Taste Funny?, based on his decade in the food industry.
