Kim Echlin is the award-winning author of five novels. Speak, Silence won the Toronto Book Award. Her novel The Disappeared, is published in 20 languages, won the Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award. Tell Others is her new collection of essays about why we read and how literature bears witness. She serves on the board of PEN International and author proceeds from this book will be donated to PEN. Her upcoming novel is about the poet and priestess Enheduanna (2300 BCE) who stood up to empire and was the first person in history to sign her poetry.
