Julián Fuks

Julián Fuks has gained recognition as one of Brazil’s most outstanding writers. Fuks is the author of the novels Histórias de literatura e cegueira and Procura do romance, both shortlisted for the Oceanos Award and the Jabuti Award. His novel Resistance was the winner of the Jabuti Award for Book of the Year, the Oceanos Prize, the José Saramago Literary Prize and the Anna Seghers Prize. Occupation is a sequel to Resistance and Fuks’ second book to appear in English.
