Jesse Wente is a husband and father, as well as an award-winning writer and speaker. Born and raised in Toronto, he is an off-reserve member of the Serpent River First Nation. Jesse’s books include the bestselling and award winning, Unreconciled, the children’s book Danger Eagle, and Tough Lies, which is out now. Jesse is currently serving as Storyteller in Residence at Toronto Metropolitan University.
