Ian Wapichana

He is a poet, slam artist, rapper, singer, audiovisual producer and composer. Born in Roraima, he is of the Wapichana people. He is one of the Indigenous youths who communicate the cultural values of resistance, strength and spirituality in their artistic expressions. Ancestry is the guide of his messages of peace and healing, but also of the reality of the neglect of Indigenous peoples from the North to the South of Brazil.

É poeta, slammer, rapper, cantor, produtor audiovisual e compositor. Nascido em Roraima ele é do povo Wapichana. Faz parte da juventude indígena que passa os valores culturais da resistência, força e espiritualidade em suas expressões artísticas. A ancestralidade é o guia de suas mensagens de paz, cura mas também da realidade de descaso aos povos indígenas de norte a sul do Brasil.
