David Moscrop is a political theorist and SSHRC postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Communication at the University of Ottawa. In 2019, he published his first book: Too Dumb for Democracy? Why We Make Bad Political Decisions and How We Can Make Better Ones. Alongside his scholarly work, David is a contributing columnist with the Washington Post, a frequent contributor to Maclean’s Magazine, and a commentator on Canadian politics for television, radio, and print journalism. He is also the host of Open To Debate, a longform current issues podcast.
