Join author Nazneen Sheikh on October 3 for the launch of her latest book, I Left You Behind (Mawenzi House). The event will take place at Massey College in the Junior Common Room from 7pm to 9pm.

Nazneen will be introduced by the publisher and will be followed by a reading and book signing. Books will be available to purchase on site from A Different Booklist.

Toronto Lit Up is a multi-year initiative, started in 2016 by the Toronto International Festival of Authors and the Toronto Arts Council, to spotlight Toronto writers and empower local artists with career-building opportunities. Between April 2016 and March 2024, Toronto Lit Up has presented over 200 events featuring over 250 Toronto authors and illustrators. Toronto Lit Up book launches take place throughout the year at venues across the city. Nazneen Sheikh

Nazneen Sheikh was born in Kashmir and went to school in Pakistan and Texas. She has written three titles for young adult audiences: Camels Can Make You Homesick and Other Stories (1985); Heartbreak High (1988); and Lucy and Time of My Life for the Degrassi television series (1989).
