This talk given by forensic toxicologist, Dr. Karen Woodall dives into the evolution of Ontario’s opioid crisis, and how it ties into criminal behaviour, covering illegal distribution, contraband use in prison, and homicide. Dr. Woodall is an associate professor at the University of Toronto, has been an active scientist for the Centre for Forensic Sciences, and is frequently called as an expert witness in toxicology.
