Join celebrated graphic novelists Eric Kim (Canada) and Hong Yeon-sik (Korea) for a special showcase on the theme of “Home.” They will present original concept art and discuss the cultural differences in how “”home”” is perceived in their work. Eric Kim, has over two decades of experience across genres from sci-fi to Canadian superheroes, including his tale of shapeshifting aliens, Zeroed Out, a tale of shapeshifting aliens written by Jim Munroe. He is joined by the critically acclaimed Hong Yeon-sik, a Manhwa Today Award winner for Uncomfortably Happy, whose recent work Umma’s Table explores family, food, and memory. Don’t miss this deep dive into the artistry and heartfelt storytelling of ‘home’ in the graphic novel.
