Ashleigh Tuite is an assistant professor and infectious disease epidemiologist at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Her research combines the science of how communicable diseases spread with the complexity of human behaviour. She is involved in the Canadian COVID-19 pandemic response, with a focus on how data can be used to improve risk forecasting and decision-making during uncertain times. She is the recipient of the Senior Lupina Prize for Dynamic Modeling Health Policy and her research has been published in many top scientific journals and her expertise featured in national and international news media.
