Hecate Press is a comics micro-press/slow publishing project located on Tr’ondek Hwech’in territory in Dawson City, Yukon.
Our aim is to promote, celebrate, and create paid opportunities for comic artists residing in the remote, northern regions of so-called Canada. Through the medium of comics, we want to create connections, communities, and friendships that span the territories and that connect the circumpolar regions. We are interested first and foremost in working with artists living in the circumpolar north of so-called “Canada”. This includes places like the territories, Labrador/Nunatsiavut, Nunavik, and other remote northern communities.
