About

Two beloved stars of historical fiction bring their latest page-turning adventures to TIFA. From internationally bestselling author Alyson Richman comes The Missing Pages, a love story, a ghost story, and an elegy to the healing power of books. Violet Hutchins, a Harvard student is working as a page at the Harry Widener Library, when strange things begin to happen leading her to uncover the secrets of Widener’s life that would meet a fateful end aboard The Titanic. Emma Donoghue’s The Paris Express is a taut and suspenseful historical novel that reimagines an 1895 French railway disaster, an event famously documented in dramatic photographs. Set over a single day, as the morning train travels from the Normandy coast to Paris, it is a thrilling ride and a literary masterpiece that captures the politics, fears and chaos of the end of the nineteenth century.
