A fiddler from the age of 9, Natalie MacMaster has proven to be an icon on the Canadian music scene, with many awards and nominations to her name. Join her for a conversation on her memoir I Have a Love Story, chronicling her journey from her childhood, to her career, to motherhood, and her reflections on her past. Natalie MacMaster began fiddling at the age of nine and released her debut album at the age of 16. Three decades, 16 albums, two Junos, and a Grammy nomination later, she has succeeded in bringing the music of her beloved homeland, Cape Breton Island, into the mainstream.
