About
In 2025, the International Visitors (IV) Programme will welcome publishing leaders from around the world and across Canada to discover the wealth and diversity of the Canadian literary scene and publishing industry. The five day programme begins with this headline event, open to publishing professionals and public alike, to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s publishing committee and discuss the issues impacting the written world today.
The keynote conversation will be led by Louisa Joyner, Associate Publisher at Faber & Faber – the prestigious publishing house who have brought some of the world’s most iconic writers to readers, from T.S Eliot in the 1920s to the likes of Kazuo Ishiguro and Sally Rooney today.
This 90-minute event will also feature the presentation of the annual Ivy Award and the PACLA Award, followed by a keynote talk and conversation.
