Join the Forensic Science Program Officer from the University of Toronto for a discussion about forensic science, debunking of popular media’s interpretations of crime scene investigation and the realities of working in forensics. This workshop introduces one of the most well-known forensic techniques, through an activity in fingerprinting and fingerprint identification, and is appropriate for all ages. Maximum 25 participants. First come, first served.

Murray Clayton is the Program Officer and Outreach Coordinator for the Forensic Science Program at the University of Toronto, having graduated with a Master of Science in Evolutionary Anthropology in 2016, focusing on the use of elemental analysis on human bone for the purposes of assessing age-at-death in the identification process. He combines his forensic case experience with pedagogy to deliver informative and engaging workshops for communities interested in seeing ‘behind the scenes’ of criminal investigation.
