About

Join authors André Alexis and Susan Choi as they discuss their latest works of fiction, two books that grapple with memory, family, and forces beyond characters’ control. Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, Alexis’ Fifteen Dogs follows a group of dogs in a shelter, temporarily granted consciousness by the gods, and their divide over their new way of living and the old. Choi’s Flashlight, follows a girl whose parents have been avoiding their pasts for as long as she can remember, and when her father disappears, she and her mother must learn to handle their greif and the past that is trying to catch up with them. This conversation with two award-winning authors is sure to be one audiences shouldn’t miss!
