Everyone is welcome to this awards presentation and reception celebrating emerging writers from the Creative Writing Program at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. Over $12,000 in prizes will be announced. We’ll inaugurate two new awards: The Catherine Fogarty Award for Creative Nonfiction and the Pal Saqi Award for Fiction, along with the Penguin Random House Canada Student Award for Fiction, the Janice Colbert Poetry Award, and The Marina Nemat Award. We’ll also launch the chapbook of stories with the winning entries for the PRHC Student Award for Fiction. Everyone who attends receives a free copy of the chapbook!
