Kang Hwagil is one of South Korea’s new group of ‘young feminists’. Her writing has received numerous accolades, most recently the 2020 Munhakdongne Young Writers’ Award for short story Eumbok.

Hye-young Pyun is a writer based in South Korea, working primarily in fiction. Her work explores the fragility of human relationships, the quiet violence of everyday life, and the psychological undercurrents that shape ordinary existence.
