Bio

Kevin Hardcastle is the award-winning author of the debut story collection Debris, which won the Trillium Book Award and the ReLit Award for Short Fiction and was a finalist for the Danuta Gleed Literary Award and the Kobo Emerging Writer Prize. His critically acclaimed debut novel, In the Cage, has been published in France and Germany. Hardcastle’s fiction has appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies, and he was a finalist for the 24th annual Journey Prize. His work was included in Journey, a compendium of the best short stories collected throughout the 35 years of the anthology. He grew up in Simcoe County, Ontario, and now lives in Toronto.
