About
TIFA’s most provocative conversation series returns, bringing together authors and industry experts to examine the culture and politics that shape the world around us and the books we read.
Why can’t we talk to each other anymore? We all have a lot to stay but when did we stop listening? In the age of hurried scrolls, clicks and swipes how do we restore space for conversation? These are the questions that award-winning novelist and poet Ian Williams interrogates for the 2024 Massey Lectures. In this special preview event ahead of the lecture tour, Williams will be joined in conversation by TIFA Director Roland Gulliver and they invite you to join them in this most fitting conversational setting. In these fractured, fractious times there’s never been a greater need to connect, converse and question.
