Nicolas Dickner

Nicolas Dickner won two literary awards for his first published work, the short story collection L’encyclopédie du petit cercle. Born in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec, he travelled extensively in Europe and Latin America before settling in Montreal. Dickner joins a roster including Ami McKay and Yann Martel in having been selected as a Knopf Canada “New Face of Fiction”. He presented his debut novel, Nikolski, which was a bestseller when it was originally published in 2005, and which appears now in English for the first time.
