Khalida Venus Hassan received an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Guelph. In 2018, she was selected as a finalist for the RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers. She lives in Toronto, where she works as a literary assistant and is working on a collection of short stories.
