Essayist and novelist, Joan Didion (USA), is a frequent contributor to numerous publications including Mademoiselle, Esquire, the New York Times, and National Review. The author of five novels and eight previous books of non-fiction, her work includes, Run River, The White Album, Political Fictions, and The Year of Magical Thinking. Didion presents, Blue Nights, a memoir speaking to the anxieties she experienced about having and raising a child, and also about the aging process.
