Jeff VanderMeer’s NYT-bestselling Southern Reach Trilogy has been acquired by publishers in more than thirty countries. Paramount Pictures/Scott Rudin Productions will release the film adaptation in 2017, directed by Alex Garland and starring, among others, Gina Rodriguez, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Oscar Isaac. VanderMeer’s nonfiction has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, the Washington Post, The Atlantic and the Los Angeles Times. He has taught at the Yale Writers’ Conference and is the 2016-2017 Trias writer-in-residence for Hobart & William Smith Colleges in upstate New York. He lives with his wife in Tallahassee, Florida.
