Ins Choi was born in Korea, grew up in Scarborough and now lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. As an actor, he’s worked with such companies as fu-GEN, Stratford and Soulpepper Theatre Company. His debut play, Kim’s Convenience, premiered at the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival. The play then toured across Canada before being adapted into an award-winning TV comedy series enjoying its third season this winter on CBC-TV. It was published by House of Anansi Press, which also published the writing from his solo show, Subway Stations of the Cross.
