Guy Gavriel Kay

Guy Gavriel Kay is the bestselling author of twelve novels and a book of poetry. He has been called “one of the most gifted storytellers of our time” by The Globe and Mail. In the 1970s, he was retained by the Estate of J.R.R. Tolkien to assist in the editorial construction of Tolkien’s posthumously published The Silmarillion. In 1990, his novel Tigana reached the national bestseller list. Kay has been a bestseller since. He was awarded the International Goliardos Prize for literature of the fantastic, the Aurora Award, the World Fantasy Award, and the Sunburst Prize for best Canadian speculative fiction. He will be presenting Children of Earth and Sky.
