Gitty Daneshvari was born in Los Angeles to an Iranian father and an American mother. As a child she talked incessantly. Then she found writing – it was better than talking since she didn’t even need anyone else to do it with. She reads from School of Fear. When four 12-year-olds are sent to the ultra-exclusive School of Fear to overcome their phobias, they discover that their peculiar teacher’s unconventional methods might just turn this into the scariest summer of their lives.
