His work has been published in over 35 languages and his accolades include the National Book Award, the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, the Pushcart Prize, the Rooney Prize and an Oscar nomination for his short film, Everything in This Country Must. McCann presents his Man Booker Prize-longlisted novel TransAtlantic, which fictionalizes the lives of three historical figures to create a profound meditation on identity and history.
