  • James Grainger

    James Grainger’s debut collection of stories, The Long Slide, was the winner of the ReLit Award for Short Fiction. His reviews and articles have appeared in the Toronto Star, Quill & Quire, The Globe and Mail, Elle Canada, Men’s Fashion, Sharp and Rue Morgue. His debut novel, Harmless, was a Canadian bestseller and a 2015 Book of the Year in the Globe and Mail and National Post.

  • Peter May

    Peter May is the multi award-winning author of numerous crime thrillers. He started his career as a journalist and went on to become one of Scotland’s most prolific television writers, with more than 1,000 credits to his name. May eventually left television to pursue his first love, writing novels. Born and raised in Scotland, he now lives in France with his wife, writer Janice Hally. He presents The Lewis Man, the second book of his bestselling Lewis Trilogy. When an unidentified corpse is recovered from a Lewis peat bog, former Detective Inspector Fin Macleod feels duty-bound to solve the mystery.

  • Eric McCormack

    Eric McCormack was born in a small village in Scotland. He moved to Canada in 1966 and attended the University of Manitoba. He taught English for over 30 years at St. Jerome’s College at the University of Waterloo, specializing in 17th-century and contemporary literature. He has been a finalist for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and the Governor General’s Literary Award. He lives in Kingston. McCormack presents Cloud. A masterpiece of literary Gothicism, the novel is an intimate and perplexing study of how the past haunts us and how we remain mysterious to others, and even ourselves.
