In celebration of the Festival’s 40th anniversary, we’re going back to our roots. Join us as we pay tribute to the festival’s early years, by recreating the kind of waterfront open mic session that inspired the very first festival. Come grab a drink and experience the literary talent Toronto has to offer – or better yet, take part! Whether you’re a seasoned professional or taking the mic for the first time, all are welcome. Dust off your favourite piece, or prepare something new. Original literary content of all genres is welcome, including poetry, short stories, spoken word and more.
Hosted by Andrea Bain at Boxcar Social at Harbourfront Centre.
