    Jesse Brown is a journalist and publisher who runs the CANADALAND media network. He is a winner of the Hillman prize for investigative reporting and is the co-author of the CANADALAND Guide to Canada.

  • Desmond Cole

    Desmond Cole is an award winning freelance journalist, a radio host and an activist in Toronto. His writing has appeared in the Toronto Star, Toronto Life, Walrus, NOW magazine, Ethnic Aisle, Torontoist, Buzzfeed, and the Ottawa Citizen, and he hosts a weekly radio program every Sunday on Newstalk 1010.

  • Rachel Giese

    Rachel Giese

    Rachel Giese is an editor-at-large at Chatelaine and a regular contributor and guest host on CBC Radio's Q. Her award-winning journalism has appeared in Toronto Life, The Walrus, Flare, The Globe and Mail, Today's Parent and NewYorker.com. She lives in Toronto with her wife and son.

    Jesse Wente is an Ojibwe broadcaster, curator, public speaker, writer and activist currently based in Tkaronto. Jesse is a vocal advocate for First Nations, Metis and Inuit rights and self determination.
