Hear Canadian author Elyse Friedman and Danish scriptwriter Jenny Lund Madsen share the details behind their new books, including the process of plotting the dark and twisted worlds. Friedman’s The Opportunist peeks into the lives of a rich and powerful family embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Meanwhile, Jenny Lund Madsen’s debut thriller, Thirty Days of Darkness follows a woman who travels to a quiet village in Iceland to write a book in 30 days; but shortly after arriving, a murder unravels a set of bizarre and dangerous events that put her plans on hold.
