Join us for the unveiling of pavers for the latest Toronto Book Award winners Desmond Cole (The Skin We’re In, 2020) and Kim Echlin (Speak, Silence, 2021) at the Toronto Book Garden. The Toronto Book Garden features paving stones engraved with the names of every winning author and title since the Toronto Book Awards were founded in 1974.
The Toronto Book Garden is located in front of Queen’s Quay Terminal, 207 Queens Quay West.
About the Toronto Book Awards: Established by Toronto City Council in 1974, the Toronto Book Awards honour books of literary merit that are inspired by the city. The annual awards offer $15,000 in prize money with shortlisted authors receiving $1,000 each and the winner taking home $10,000.
