About

Join Toronto author Saumiya Balasubramaniam for her latest book, When I Visited Grandma. Maya is excited to be in India visiting Grandma, but their time together isn’t quite what she expected … It’s all a little bit rushed, busy, noisy and hot but then suddenly it isn’t. Where has Grandma gone? Balasubramaniam thoughtfully explores the challenges of cross-cultural and intergenerational relationships in this companion book to When I Found Grandma. This event is sure to be full of storytelling and activities, including a fun and interactive quiz.

Recommended for ages 3 and up.

TIFA Kids is generously supported by The McLean Foundation with additional support provided by the J.P. Bickell Foundation.
