From page to performance, poetry makes the leap with ease. Join accomplished poets Afra Atiq and Martin Gomes for a performance followed by a conversation on the fascinating process of writing and performing poetry.

Dr. Afra Atiq is an Emirati poet, scholar and teaching artist.
Martin Gomes recently obtained a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts at York University where he studied music. Ringleader of his Band “JuiceBox” with whom he won the TIFF: Battle of the Scores competition in 2020.
