Britta Badour, better known as Britta B., is an award-winning artist, public speaker, and poet living in Toronto. She is the recipient of the Breakthrough Artist Award (Toronto Arts Foundation, 2021) and Lecturer of the Year (COCA, 2021). Britta holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Guelph and teaches spoken word performance at Seneca College.

Afua Cooper is a poet, performer, scholar, historian and social and cultural commentator. Dr. Afua Cooper’s expertise in and contributions to the arts, history and education were recognized when she was presented in 2015 with the Nova Scotia Human Rights Award from the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission. She is the author of five books of poetry, including the critically acclaimed Copper Woman and Other Poems. Her work in the creative arts has been recognized with the Premier of Ontario Award for Excellence in the Arts, a Governor General’s Award nomination and internationally with the Beacon of Freedom Award. A founder of the Canadian Dub poetry movement, Afua Cooper has organized three international dub poetry festivals.

Lillian Allen is an acclaimed foremother of Canadian Poetry and a long-time arts activist. She is a leading international exponent of dub poetry with its politically charged reggae-infused aesthetic of resistance. Also, a globally recognized recording artist, Lillian is a two-time Canadian Juno award winner for her recordings Conditions Critical and Revolutionary Tea Party which was recently nominated for the prestigious Polaris Heritage Prize in Canada. Lillian is the author of Make the World New: The Poetry of Lillian Allen, Women Do this Every Day, Psychic Unrest, plus books and recordings for children and young people.
